It was a special day today at the Preschool Division as it started with a special morning assembly during which children were told the story of St. Barbara, and how she prayed for Jesus and hid between the wheat to run away from her father and prosecutors.
Later on during the day, KG1, KG2, and KG3 children planted wheat on cotton and just loved tasting boiled wheat porridge and the traditional “maacroon”!
Children also enjoyed putting on the masks they made in the Art class and went touring around the school in disguise singing the traditional “Heshlé Barbara”!
KG3 children went further around the premises to visit the school director, the administration offices, as well as the principals’ offices.
“Put a mask on and eat a cup of boiled wheat, Take a tour around the block for the traditional “Trick or Treat”!
