The Grade 9 students went on a spiritual retreat to “Deir El Salib - Bkennaya” which provided a profound encounter with the legacy of Father Yaacoub. The Grade 9 students explored his old clothes and materials, evoking a sense of reverence and connection to his spiritual journey. Beyond the relics, interactions with patients in “Deir El Salib” revealed profound joy and insightful authenticity. The patients’ wide smiles, loud laughter, and exuberant expressions throughout the various songs and dances illuminated the transformative power of acceptance and love, allowing all of us to foster an enriching and inclusive spiritual experience from the retreat.
