It is with great pleasure that we announce our students’ amazing success as they brought home multiple wins from the American University of Beirut's 29th Annual Science, Mathematics, and Technology Online Fair!
The participating Saint Joseph School students, from the Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, Middle School, and Secondary School Divisions impressed the judges with their innovative and well-researched projects. Each Division had a winning project, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of our young scientists.
The distribution of the SJS Awards goes as follows:
· Secondary School Division – 1st prize – Smart Green House – Tony Asmar (2SB), Jad Bou Khalil (2SB).
· Middle School Division – 1st prize – Sustainable Cooling and Irrigation System – Andrea Haddad (G8A), Coana Chemaly (G8A), Chloe Rizk (G8A), Kaylin Massoud (G8A).
· Middle School Division – 2nd prize – House-Handy Robot – Maria Karaa (G7A), Charbel Youssef (G7A), Jay Bou Chedid (G7A), Rebecca Abou Jaoude (G7A).
· Upper Elementary Division – 1st prize – Ultimate Safe – Perla Nasri (G6C), Celina Yammine (G6C), Matthew Rahbani (G6B), Yorgo Salameh (G6E).
· Lower Elementary Division – 3rd prize – Save the Water Drop – Noah Yammine (G2B), Marcos Semaan (G2D).
