Four of our SJS students - Jad Bou Khalil (1SA), Perla Maria Hobeika (1SC), Charbel Krayem (1SD), and Thierry Zarifeh (1SC) showcased their knowledge in mathematics by competing against 35 other teams in “The Tenth Math Olympiad” on Saturday, March 18, 2023, hosted by AUST in Achrafieh, where we proudly won the 3rd prize in the teams’ competition. This competition encouraged and challenged mathematically gifted students to take a more active interest in mathematics: the basic mathematical abilities but also tricky math riddles were questioned, and our team scored 132 out of 150.
