Job Description
Counsels students and their families regarding behavior modifications, rehabilitation, and social adjustments. Follows up on the Financial Aid program. Organizes community service and campaigns.

Required Qualifications

Tasks
Counsels students-children and youth-with difficulties in social adjustments;
2. Meets students to assess their respective social and emotional capabilities,physical and mental impairments,and financial needs upon referrals;
3. Consults with parents,teachers,and other school personnel to determine causes of problems and effect solutions;
4. Performs case management including home visits,develops case plans (personal development / recovery plans) with students and members of their families;
5. Develops and organizes programs and group activities with the objective of enhancing social development of individual members and the accomplishment of group goals;
6. Organizes community service and social campaigns.
7. Counsels families of students regarding behavior modifications,rehabilitation,social adjustments,or financial assistance;
8. Receives applications for financial assistance:
9. Follows up on Financial Assistance requests and collects supplementary information such as parents' employment,medical records,school reports;
10. Maintains case history records and prepares reports and recommendations;
11. Maintains confidentiality of case specifics;
12. Determines students' eligibility for financial assistance:
13. Prepares the social section of the Child Development Program (CDP) from Grade 1 till 2S:
14. Participates in national relevant conferences;
15. Collaborates with the Counseling Department members as well as with relevant respective administrative and faculty members to ensure complementary interventions;
16. Provides periodic reports on the progress and effectiveness of administered plans;
17. Reports to the Head of Counseling Department,vive Rector for School Life,and Division Principal any violations of Children’s rights (child abuse...) at home or elsewhere:
18. Provides input to the school on any relevant policies that serve to build a better environment for the students - whether individuals or as a group;
19. Performs other duties of similar nature as requested by the school management.
