SS – Awards Distribution Ceremony for the Academic Year 2024-2025

Posted in Secondary School

The Secondary School Division hosted its Annual Awards Distribution Ceremony on Friday, October 10, 2025 to celebrate the accomplishments of students during the 2024-2025 academic year. This event was a testament to the school's commitment to cultivating well-rounded students through both academic excellence and diverse extracurricular achievements.

The program was rich and dynamic. It was expertly led by the Master of Ceremony, Mr. Bernard Merheb, who shared a memorable speech that included a significant milestone of his own achievements. The ceremony started with an uplifting spiritual segment performed by students, followed by a mesmerizing musical performance from our students, and a live painting that added an artistic touch. The school rector, Msgr. Chady Bou Habib, delivered an inspiring address, congratulating the students and appreciating the teachers' dedication.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of awards to the first, second, and third top-ranking students across every class, section, and level. Special recognition was also given to a student who achieved a remarkable progress, raising his overall grade by two full points over 20, between the first and second semesters. The program continued with varied student performances, including captivating musical showcases and a lively scout dance performance that energized the audience.

Mrs. Cynthia Zouein Helou, from the Parents Association addressed the audience, expressing gratitude for the encouraging learning environment and acknowledging the efforts of both students and teachers. The ceremony resumed with the recognition of students who excelled in various extracurricular activities. The Secondary School Principal, Fr. Maroun Chamoun, then shared a word with the audience, referring to a short video of Pope Leo XVI giving his blessing to a massive 20,000 years old chunk of ice, which symbolized the potential for moral and ethical actions to have a profound and lasting impact, encouraging students to continue striving for excellence by stepping forward as leaders of positive and ethical change in the World.

The successful event concluded with the presentation of paintings prepared by students as tokens of appreciation to the school rector and vice rectors, the Parents' Association representative, and the Secondary School Principal. The ceremony successfully showcased the school's dedication to fostering academic brilliance and nurturing diverse talents.
