The legacy of Saint Joseph School (SJS) - Cornet Chahwan continues to flourish through the exceptional dedication and outstanding skills of our students. We are immensely proud to announce the victorious performance of our 1st & Second Secondary and IBDP1 students’ delegates at the annual Model Arab League (MAL) Leadership Simulation, organized by the Lebanese American University (LAU).
Representing Lebanon across 16 different committees, our delegation of 16 students showcased rigorous diplomacy, critical thinking, and a profound understanding of regional geopolitics. Competing against 26 schools, SJS stood out not only for its participation but for its overwhelming success in securing high recognition.
Our students’ hard work and eloquent advocacy resulted in a remarkable sweep of honors:
· Four Secretary-General Awards (1st Place): These top honors include a 30% Scholarship for LAU tuition fees, recognizing our students as the premier delegates in their respective committees.
· One Diplomacy Award (2nd Place): This achievement carries a 15% Scholarship for LAU tuition fees, reflecting excellence in negotiation and consensus-building.
· One Country Statement Award (3rd Place): A testament to the student’s significant contribution and impactful presence during the simulations.
Throughout the years, SJS has emerged as a leading force in several leadership simulation programs. We eagerly anticipate the official award distribution ceremony in June 2026, where SJS is poised to be formally recognized with the Best School Delegation Award.
This success was not achieved in isolation. We extend our deepest appreciation to the SJS Alumni Support Team. Their commitment to mentor the next generation of leaders exemplifies the enduring spirit of our community. This synergy between past and present students is the cornerstone of our delegation's preparation and confidence.
To our 16 delegates: your achievements have brought immense pride to the entire SJS family. You have demonstrated that with discipline, heart, and a commitment to excellence, there are no limits to what you can achieve.
As we celebrate these victories, we remain humbled and grateful. It is God’s blessings that continue to sustain our mission and keep the legacy of Saint Joseph School vibrant and strong.
Congratulations to our champions!
