SJS Students Continue to Excel in Sports Competitions!
Saint Joseph School proudly celebrates another series of remarkable athletic achievements accomplished by our students across a variety of sports competitions during the Spring 2026 season. Through dedication, perseverance, and outstanding talent, our students continue to raise the SJS banner high and inspire our community with their success.
Outstanding Performance in Rhythmic Gymnastics
At the Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition held at Nohad Nawfal Stadium in Zouk Mikael, Lilit Akl (Grade 2A) delivered an exceptional performance and proudly earned two gold medals, showcasing impressive flexibility, grace, and discipline.
Basketball Excellence across tournaments
At the Ball Handler Basketball Tournament held at La Sagesse, Jdeideh, James Massaad (Grade 6B) stood out with his remarkable skills and leadership on the court, earning the prestigious title of MVP in the U12 category.
The SJS U12 Boys Basketball Team also achieved a remarkable victory by winning the Don Bosco Tournament, culminating in an exciting final game against Sagesse. The team’s determination, teamwork, and competitive spirit led them to the championship title.
Adding to this success, Michel Rizk (Grade 6E) delivered an exceptional tournament performance, earning the title of MVP of the Final Game against Sagesse, as well as receiving the awards for Best Assist and Best Defender of the Don Bosco U12 Tournament.
Ping Pong Victory
At the Ping Pong Tournament held at Al Rabita Hall in Bkennaya, Jal El Dib, Gabrielle Haddad (Grade 9A) achieved an outstanding success by securing 1st place, reflecting focus, precision, and competitive spirit.
Taekwondo Champions at Elite Championship
SJS students demonstrated strength and determination at the Internal Champions Elite Taekwondo Championship held at Mont La Salle, Ain Saadeh:
* Charbel Morcos (Grade 4E) earned 1st place and a gold medal in the Red Belt category.
* Alexandre Abi Rached (Grade 4A) also achieved 1st place and a gold medal in the Red Belt category.
Their performances reflected discipline, confidence, and exceptional martial arts skills.
Gymnastics Success at Flex Zone Spring Cup 2026
At the Gymnastics Flex Zone Spring Cup 2026 (USAG Program) held at Flex Zone Batroun, Karell Zarka (Grade 4F) achieved remarkable results by winning three medals in addition to the overall gold medal, demonstrating excellence, determination, and outstanding athletic ability.
These accomplishments are a true reflection of the hard work, commitment, and passion of our students, as well as the continuous support of their families, coaches, and teachers. SJS remains proud of its student athletes who continue to embody the values of perseverance, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the field.
