With the current culinary trends, more and more people, restaurants and chefs are exploring and adopting plant-based diets on a global scale. Vegetarian lifestyles are associated with a reduced risk of many chronic illnesses, including heart disease, many types of cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity.
Accordingly, our Secondary School Students were invited to learn more about vegetarian trends and benefits with an accomplished panelist from the Culinary Arts Academy of Switzerland:
