"Be Present. Be the Present."
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Secondary School Division at Saint Joseph School – Cornet Chahwan hosted its annual Leadership Day at the serene and inspiring Saint Georges Convent -Bherdok. This special day brought together student leaders: members of the Student Council, the "Dimensions" school yearbook, and the "Vision" school magazine.
The day began with a meaningful opening mass led by the Secondary School (SS) Spiritual Counselor, Fr. Fadi Najem, setting a positive and reflective tone for the day ahead. A group photo captured the vibrant energy and solidarity among the student leaders, a reminder of their collective responsibility toward the Secondary School community.
The program included an interactive and exciting plenary session presented by Mr. Tony Hashem followed by engaging activities fostering teamwork and communication. A highlight of the day was the insightful address by the Secondary School (SS) Principal, Fr. Maroun Chamoun, offering valuable guidance and encouragement to the young leaders.
Following a brief break, the "Vision" Magazine team met with the SS Principal to discuss their upcoming projects, while the "Dimensions" team engaged in a productive checklist session with Mrs. Paula Semaan, the Dimensions Coordinator. Meanwhile, the Student Council members, in collaboration with Miss Mary Nawfal, the SS Student Affairs Office Director, delved into the planning of exciting school events for the second semester, ensuring a vibrant and engaging school life for all.
