They came, they learned, they can save lives.
In an exciting collaboration with MEDSIM - Simulation Center of the Saint Joseph University (USJ), our Secondary School students participated in "A Life in Your Hands" Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Day, held at SJS on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Students delved into the world of emergency response. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to understand the importance of first aid in saving lives.
The day was more than just workshops; it was a chance for our students to gain life skills and confidence to act properly in a cardiac emergency. Participants learned the essential techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a fun, engaging, and hands-on environment.
The day concluded with a certificate distribution, recognizing each student's dedication and newfound ability to play a vital role in saving lives.
A huge thank you to the BLS team at the USJ Simulation Center for providing such an engaging and invaluable learning experience.
