During the months of October and November, the Grade 7 students took part in a spiritual retreat at the site of Saint Rafqa, one of Lebanon’s most cherished and revered saints. The students were filled with excitement as they traveled to Himlaya, the birthplace of Saint Rafqa and the patron saint of the Middle School Division.
Throughout the retreat, they engaged in prayer, attended mass, and spent moments in silence to reflect on their personal spiritual growth. The visit inspired everyone to embrace the values of faith, forgiveness, and trust, especially in challenging moments. Surrounded by the peaceful and serene atmosphere of Himlaya, the experience became even more meaningful and heartfelt.
By the end of the day, the students returned to school feeling calm, uplifted, and spiritually renewed. This retreat was not only memorable but also an important milestone in their journey of faith.
